the Isilo-Voyages website, the website for eco and responsible tourism destinations. Isilo means "lion" or "leopard" in Zulu, and a voyage can be either physical or spiritual: encounter a rhino on a walking trail or meditate watching the sunrise over the ocean.

This website contains information regarding three lodges & one tour operator. The reason these four were chosen is that all are dedicated to ecotourism (the environment) and responsible tourism (the people). Lesheba, Hog-Hollow, Amakhala and African Insight are very different geographically, historically and because of the services they provide, but they all have that dedication in common.

You will find details about each one of the lodges and about the tour operator on this website, and in the coming months, I will add other lodges that adhere to this concept of tourism.
